Plastic structured packing plays a vital role in tower internals, providing a larger surface area and lower gas flow resistance. It has a honeycomb-style structure and may be made of various plastics, including polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and polypropylene.We also have Plastic alloy material is a new type of non-metallic material developed by our company for special industries with high temperature and strong corrosion.
PTFE structured packing
Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF): The operating temperature is about 30~135ºC, and it is resistant to most inorganic acids and alkalis, halogens, alcohols, halogenated hydrocarbons and aromatic hydrocarbons. Fuming acid, concentrated alkali and amines can corrode PVDF. At high temperatures, contact with ketones, esters and other polar solvents will cause swelling. PVDF is odorless, bromine-free and non-toxic, and is suitable for use in the food processing industry.
Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE, PFA): can be used at -200~260C. PFA is resistant to almost all types of solvents and chemicals, trifluoride and alkali above 400ºC, and No harm to health.
