Trough-pan Liquid-gas Distributor 

The trough-pan liquid-gas distributor is a new type of liquid distributor which developed in recent years, it absorb the both advantages of trough type distributor and tray type distributor.It have the effect of liquid collection,liquid dispersion and gas dispersion.Its structure is compact, elasticity of operation up to 10:1.Have the advantage of  uniform distribution of gas and liquid, small resistance, especially suitable for situation of easy happening entrainment and Jam as tower internals.

In order to reduce the amplification effect caused by the poor distribution of the liquid and to fully utilize the efficiency of the filler, it is necessary to install a liquid distributor in the packed tower to evenly distribute the liquid on top of the packing layer.

The trough-pan liquid-gas distributor is characterized by also comprising the defoaming device, and the defoaming device is installed in the outlet or inlet channel of the gas lifting trough. The defoaming device can filter not only larger foams suspended in airflows but also smaller and tiny foams, therefore the mass transfer separation efficiency is ensured, and the loss of valuable materials is reduced. The distributor is suitable for all packed towers and is especially suitable for the packed towers of materials easy to foam.
